About The Position

Our MRI Intern at Franciscan is a critical role. This position assists the MRI Technologist in performing standard MRI procedures on designated parts of the body, as required by physician’s orders. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Monday - Friday possible weekend shifts Rotating between hospital and clinic Assist Technologist with MRI procedures, including lifting and moving patients utilizing proper methods to assure good body mechanics. Provide attention and concern for the physical and psychological needs of the patient under the direct supervision of the Supervising Technologist. Consistently cleans the MRI equipment; provide clean linen to all work areas and removes dirty linen and stock necessary patient supplies in each exam room. Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available to practitioner.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited MRI program
  • Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities
