Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelors or technical degree with minimum 3.0 GPA .
  • Completed one full year of college (rising Sophomore)
  • Dependable transportation to / from work
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen OR Green card holder

Nice To Haves

  • At least 24 credit hours of coursework toward a bachelors/technical (or equivalent) degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
  • Previous experience using independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects often requiring independent decision-making.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.
  • Analyze data with excel or various other analysis tools.
  • Assist with data validation and cleanup to ensure accuracy and integrity of procurement and sourcing information.
  • Assist in the daily functions of a sourcing employee, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining supplier communication, and mitigating risks to the business.
  • Support efforts to streamline and improve procurement and sourcing processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency and assisting with implementation.
  • May be asked to participate in early talent events, seminars or training
