Find out how you can Make It Possible: In this role, the MRI Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MRI procedures. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This is a Per Diem position, working on an as-needed basis, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
  • Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
  • At least 1 year of MR experience

Nice To Haves

  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR
  • 2 years experience
