About The Position

The Boeing Company's Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Project Management Specialist to join its MQ-25 EMD team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for executing projects that enable the production system of MQ-25 as the program progresses through its Engineering Manufacturing & Development (EMD) phase and beyond. The position involves developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining integrated plans and schedules, performing various studies and risk assessments, and directing cross-functional teams to impact the cost, schedule, and performance of the production system. The role is available at both Experienced Level 3 and Senior Level 4, with increasing leadership and complexity at the senior level. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and requires the selected candidate to be a "U.S. Person" for export control compliance.

Requirements

Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), processes, and methods
More than 3 years of experience in project leadership including planning, implementing and executing project plans
More than 4 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit teams
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business, or technical field
Meet export control compliance requirements, defined as a “U.S. Person” by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 or 22 C.F.R. §120.62

Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical experience or experience in a role that interfaced directly with engineering functions
Experience working in a production environment

Responsibilities

Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards in a production environment (Experienced Level 3)
Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives (Experienced Level 3)
Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project (Experienced Level 3)
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case (Experienced Level 3)
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion, establishing key stakeholder requirements and project objectives (Experienced Level 3)
Directs cross-functional teams to execute projects that impact the cost, schedule and performance of the production system (Experienced Level 3)
Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry in a production environment (Senior Level 4)
