Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of electrical, solar installation, and repair experience.
• Working knowledge of replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
• Familiarity with current NEC, local building, and green book codes.
• Ability to manage work effectively to meet timelines.
• Experience with hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade.
• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Comfortable working from ladders and at heights.
• Ability to operate office equipment and ensure work accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CRM systems, particularly Podio.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians by performing tasks under direct supervision during solar system installations.
• Evaluate job requirements and costs in collaboration with peers and leadership.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electric Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Update project statuses in CRM systems (Podio) and ensure accurate reporting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in solar system components.
• Lead the installation of electrical systems connecting solar arrays to the grid.
• Interface with branch leadership to maintain compliance with electrician/labor ratios and continuing education requirements.
