About The Position

Performs work associated with die installation and calibration of various manufacturing machines and equipment. Job Duties Safely and efficiently install dies into various types of equipment and perform adjustments as needed. Show aptitude for basic trouble shooting of dies and machines.Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operationOperate powered industrial equipment if needed Complete all necessary documents fully and accuratelyAdhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Perform work under direct supervision
• Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
• Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
• 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
• Ability to interpret work instructions
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to read and understand measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers, ect.)
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects
• Manual dexterity
• Physical stamina
