Markel is seeking college students for an internship within the product management department of the personal lines division. Program Summary Markel is seeking college sophomores and juniors with the right combination of business, mathematic, analytic and communication skills for the summer of 2026. In this internship, you will be working directly with our team and have hands-on experience within data analytics, reporting and operational functions. This internship will also include special projects that will be assigned during your summer internship that you will be expected to complete by specific deadlines. Program Design Paid internship for full-time work from June through August Opportunity to work within the product management department of Markel personal lines division Exposure to the reporting operations the personal lines division of a publicly traded company Opportunity to execute actual work deliverables and contribute toward team goals

Requirements

• Sophomores or Junior standing
• Excellent academic credentials (GPA 3.0 or above)
• Actuarial, finance, mathematics/analytics or related business administration academic concentration
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and analytical skills
• Computer and Microsoft office proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Personal lines insurance market interest
• US Work Authorization required. Markel does not provide visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future.
