About The Position

The Manager, MP&L is responsible for leading a team to continuously improve the reception of high-quality finished products, in the required quantity, and at the right time. Achieving this Vision will require prioritizing the most impactful MP&L Strategies, getting the most out of the existing team of Buyers, and working closely with the Direct Source and Sales teams to ensure the inventory on hand align with the products being sold and shipped.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate purchasing and delivery of materials and products.High volume of SKU’s & High volume of locations
Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of finished auto glass from internal and external suppliers to our distribution center
Ensure the right product is available in the right place at the right time by maintaining proper inventory levels
Lead and develop a team of three buyers; provide direction, training, and performance management to ensure accurate part-level purchasing aligned with stocking strategies and service level goals.
Support operational and organizational efficiency in the warehouse.
Support engineering level management for new and existing products
Collaborate with sales, operations, and inventory teams to analyze historical usage, seasonal trends, and market shifts to create accurate demand forecasts for all SKUs.
Develop and measure key performance metrics related to supply chain management
Identify deviations, receiving verification, accurate labelling, FIFO control, and improve inventory accuracy.
Resolve claim issues as necessary
Approve relevant invoices as they occur
Provide critical input and monitor new and existing Aftermarket programs in regard to supply chain requirements and issues
Supervise trade advisor services and broker actions to ensure AGS is compliant with US import and Export regulations
