About The Position
We are seeking reliable and experienced Movers/helpers to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Mover/helper, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving, customer service, and working in a warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to our organization's success. In this role, you will be tasked with packing, protecting, loading, and unloading goods from customers' homes and box trucks and vans, utilizing heavy lifting equipment such as pallet jacks. It is crucial to ensure that all goods are properly secured during transit to prevent damage. Providing exceptional customer service is a key aspect of this position; you will need to be friendly, courteous, and responsive to customers' needs and concerns. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices for moving and storage. Collaborating with other team members is essential to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You may also be required to perform other duties as assigned by management, making flexibility and teamwork important attributes for this role.
