About The Position

Precision Packouts is a growing contents and textiles restoration business, specializing in the recovery and restoration of personal and commercial property affected by fire, water, mold, and other disasters. Our mission is to provide top-tier restoration services while building long-term partnerships with restoration companies, insurance adjusters, and clients. The Contents Mover plays a critical role in delivering on our core values of Commitment to Quality Service and Continuous Improvement, Caring, and Communication within our contents and textiles restoration business by providing physical support in remediation efforts for client contents. This individual will primarily spend their time delivering contents restoration services to our quality standards, performing packout, content manipulation, storage, and packback related duties. Main functions will include performing tasks related to moving and transporting items on contents packouts, manipulation, and storage. We are looking for someone that is looking for part-time work and flexible non-guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Experience as a mover preferred
• Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices

Responsibilities

• Moving and loading boxes and large items from customer locations and our warehouse
• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices
