As a CBRE Moves Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for ensuring that all occupancy, space management, and move and change activity services are delivered efficiently and effectively on behalf of clients. This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services. Weekends and after-hours work may be necessary, as significant moves often occur during these times.

  • Liaise closely with internal and external teams to ensure that effective communication is maintained between all parties involved in moves and changes.
  • Respond to customer requests for relocations and changes at short notice, maximize space occupancy, and utilization of buildings.
  • Lead large move project RFQs/estimates and scheduling of work including coordination with outside resources when needed. Audit the relocation work out-of-hours to ensure the smooth running of moves for occupation by the client.
  • Oversee moves projects, schedules and budgets for all relocation projects. Provide regular reports on progress and escalate issues as required. Achieve or exceed target standards for agreed KPIs.
  • Lead clean-up effort before and after moves.
  • Audit workstations on a regular basis: including people locations, flex desk set up and overall furniture use and repair.
  • Direct company processes, inclusive of client meetings, finances, health and safety, and programming of support contractor activities.
  • Ensure all documents, drawings, and standards are subject to regulatory scrutiny.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Familiarity with large commercial move vendors.
  • Background in managing move-related projects and coordinating move projects with large commercial move vendors.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Budget management experience and Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
