About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Furniture Mover to join our Field Operations Team at the Lockheed facility in Palmdale. This role involves assisting with daily moving assignments, ensuring furniture and equipment are transported safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is physically capable, works well in a team, and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload furniture and equipment from trucks or moving vehicles using ramps, lift-gates, and other equipment to protect items.
• Packing and Wrapping: Properly pack, wrap, and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
• Assembly/Disassembly: Assist with assembling and disassembling furniture, using proper packaging and staging techniques to ensure item safety.
• Transportation: Drive moving vehicles as needed, ensuring safe and timely delivery of items.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, addressing questions or concerns during the move while following all safety protocols and site rules.
• Physical Labor: Lift, carry, and move heavy furniture while adhering to safety procedures. Work may involve walking on level, uneven, or inclined surfaces, and climbing stairs throughout the day.
