About The Position
As a Mover/Driver at Advanced Moving, you will embark on a rewarding career that involves physically demanding tasks and customer interaction. This full-time position requires you to be an integral part of a team responsible for moving furniture and other items for our clients. You will be expected to load and unload a 26-foot box truck, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to their destination safely. Your role will also involve assembling or placing items as needed, which requires attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction. In this position, you will need to demonstrate strong customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude while working with your team and clients. The job may require long hours, and you should be prepared to work on weekends as needed. Previous experience in moving is a plus, but a willingness to learn and adapt is equally important. You will be expected to lift heavy items, sometimes up to 100 pounds, so physical fitness is essential. Driving experience with 26-foot box trucks is necessary, although a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required. A clean driving record is mandatory, and you must possess a valid driver's license. This role offers the potential for tips, adding to your overall earnings, and provides a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
