About The Position
JK Moving is seeking Veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard, and Reservists to join our team as Move Specialists for an exciting military contract. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other crew members to service various move projects, which may include office relocations, industrial moves, museum installations, laboratory setups, and other assigned projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including moving, packing, wrapping, inventory management, and the transport of goods for our commercial customers. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various types of equipment and materials, ensuring that all items are moved safely and efficiently. As a Move Specialist, you will be involved in the entire moving process, which may include the storage, packing, loading, and transport of office equipment or other industrial items. You will be expected to communicate clearly and concisely with your team members, clients, and move coordinators to ensure that all aspects of the move are executed smoothly. Reliability and punctuality are crucial, as you will need to be available for dispatch on time and may have to adapt to varying work schedules. Additionally, you will be required to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug screening, as well as demonstrate the physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds.
