Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Move-In Coordinator to join our team! The Move-In Coordinator works in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the community and/or specific instruction from the Director of Marketing and Sales. The Move-In Coordinator performs all the necessary functions of ensuring a successful move-in of all future residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (emphasis in sales/marketing preferred).
  • Two years' experience in marketing/sales.
  • One year experience in senior housing or healthcare-related field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all pre-move-in tasks, including document collection, scheduling, apartment readiness, and family communication.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with new residents and their families throughout the move-in process.
  • Create and maintain detailed move-in checklists customized for each new resident.
  • Manage logistics for move-in day, including coordinating with and/or scheduling movers, apartment inspections, housekeeping and dining.
  • Ensure all required documents (leases, assessments, physician statements, etc.) are completed prior to move-in.
  • Facilitate internal move-in meetings with all relevant departments to ensure team alignment.
  • Greet residents and families personally on move-in day, providing a warm, reassuring experience.
  • Track move-in milestones and report on key metrics to leadership weekly.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any move-in day issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support the sales team by reinforcing a strong first impression and providing feedback from families post-move-in.
