This position is responsible for assisting the Training Supervisor(s) or Training Manager(s) in achieving business goals through training, quality, and productivity by performing training coordinator and administrative duties along with coordinating daily tasks and reporting. The Mounting Training Coordinator takes action to make the Manufacturing Facility 'The Best Place to Work' for mounting associates. Works across all 4 shifts to give associates the tools/training to understand and implement mounting work instructions and standard operating procedures within the Manufacturing facility.

  • Build and maintain the in-classroom Mounting kits
  • Update and maintain Frame flix with any new frame information
  • Perform analysis on top frame breakages to improve training techniques
  • Create Frame bulletins
  • Mentor new trainees in mounting
  • Perform cross shift alignment and auditing
  • Update all trainees' information pertaining to mount training
  • Work with ME team for needs adjustment to process documentation
  • Work with production leadership to ensure all necessary tools for process are available
  • Be proactive in identifying training needs and recommending alternative training resources
  • Document training plans and post on training board weekly
  • Update and publish all relevant training records and plans on a weekly basis
  • Track and report the hours and cost of training
  • Calculate and communicate the impact of training through the key operating metrics, turnover, and associate satisfaction
  • Assist in new hire orientation
  • Maintain training materials; provide input for standardized Work Instructions
  • Conduct weekly training meetings with team leaders and supervisors
  • Conduct quality and time evaluations for manufacturing associates
  • Conduct annual safety training for all associates
  • Maintain associate training files
  • Ensure facility compliance with ISO 9001 training requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years related experience-training, facilitation, instructional design or learning management systems
  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • Competent computer skills-Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation/training skills
  • Self-Starter and highly organized
  • Proven problem-solving skills
