Applications will not be accepted after that date/time. General Summary Do you want to serve your community and help ensure the safety of visitors across Oakland County Parks? Under limited supervision, you’ll perform a variety of law enforcement duties within the Parks system, responding to incidents, maintaining public order, and enforcing park rules and regulations. In this unique role, you’ll also conduct mounted patrols throughout park grounds and trails, providing visibility, accessibility, and community engagement in areas not reachable by vehicle. What You’ll Do Investigate accidents, complaints, and other incidents, and prepare detailed reports. Respond to disturbances and emergencies to maintain peace and public safety. Apprehend, restrain, and assist in the arrest of individuals when necessary. Utilize Countywide and department-specific software to complete assignments and maintain accurate records.
