About The Position

Mountain Sports School Program Managers are responsible for the overall quality of the guest experience. This is achieved through focus on quality assurance, sales generation, performance development, financial oversight, communication, collaboration, administrative duties, and continued professional growth.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• PSIA/AASI Level II
• Supervisory experience in a resort setting
• Customer service experience in a resort setting

• College Degree
• PSIA/AASI Level III

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the quality of the guest experience in terms of facilities, employee/guest interactions, and instructional content.
• Create schedules and provides coaching to supervisors and instructors.
• Relates to and interacts with employees on all levels to ensure exceptional guest service and positive, lasting memories.
• Models and coaches all staff to actively promote Palisades Tahoe products and services to meet guests' needs.
• Supports each instructor's growth and success by providing respectful coaching and honest feedback.
• Administers disciplinary action when necessary.
• Manages the product financially by using Mountain Sports School budget guidelines for labor, supplies, and workers comp exposure.
• Uses all methods of communication to assure that all levels of the organization are in the know and connected to the company and each other.
• Encourages teamwork across the Mountain Sports School by demonstrating positive, supportive behaviors and attitudes with employees and other departments.
• Administers the product and the business through scheduling, organizing, ordering supplies and attending to various clerical duties.
• Takes time and finds opportunities to learn, improve, and connect with the profession.
