The Mountain Sky Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times while performing all shift duties, including cashiering, store maintenance, stocking, inventory, and food preparation.

Ringing up all sales on the POS properly and accurately, handling money, debit, and credit transactions.
Ability to multi task, along with cleaning duties necessary to maintain site cleanliness inside and out.
Adhere to all ABC laws to ensure responsible alcohol sales.
Process document requirements for shift, sales, and reporting.
Promote teamwork and cooperation with supervisors and all co-workers.
Stock shelves with inventory, set up displays on occasion.
Notifies Manager or Assistant Manager regarding any equipment issues.
Must be flexible and punctual and have the ability to work as scheduled.
Required to attend any job related meetings. Must follow procedures, schedules and assignments precisely.
Must be able to follow basic recipes and cooking methods for all food preparation according to food handlers guidelines.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and be able to adapt to changing procedures job duties and responsibilities.
Must have knowledge and ability to use kitchen equipment and following all safety guidelines for the operation of all kitchen equipment, safely break down, clean and reassemble equipment.
Uses sharp objects to cut or peel food items.
Must be able to work in fast pace and hot environment with ability to multi task.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to work all shifts and holidays.
Must practice good personal hygiene.
Follows sanitation practices, safe food storage, and correct procedures for handling refrigerated, frozen and dry stored items.
Follows proper closing procedures and cleanup of your assigned station.
Must be able to label and date all food stored and rotate as needed.
Reports any food items that need to be ordered or any spoilage of product to the supervisor.
Performs all other duties as required or assigned by management.
Experience in retail sales, fast food service, or convenience store work preferred.
Knowledge of food production and menu planning
Knowledge and commitment to use proper sanitation and food preparation procedures as outlined in casino and department handbook, HACCP and OSHA .
Food Handlers Certificate required
Organized and attentive to details
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to be a team player and motivator
Commitment to professionalism, to include optimal verbal and non-verbal communication
At least 21 years of age
Able to complete the 90 day introductory period in consecutive days as scheduled.
Ability to work with the equipment used to perform job.
Possess high school diploma or GED.
Able read, write, speak, and understand English. Possess basic math skills.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Meet and pass requirements to qualify for and maintain a Cahuilla Casino Non-Gaming Employment Badge.
Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds from ground to overhead.
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds (i.e. utilizing a hand-truck).
A drug test will be required prior to employment and periodically thereafter.
