The Mountain Safety Manager is tasked with staffing a team of both paid and volunteer members whose responsibility is to enhance skier and rider safety by establishing a structured On-Mountain Safety Team with a visible presence, ensuring effective engagement and accident prevention. The Mountain Safety Team Manager promotes a culture of safety for guests and employees including ski and snowboard safety enforcement of 'The Responsibility Code', maintaining proper safety equipment and signage, and facilitates correction of safety problems. The Mountain Safety Team Manager will work with other departments to resolve safety concerns, and specifically with Ski Patrol in relation to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. The Mountain Safety Manager must have the ability to provide leadership, training and supervision to all members; and understand and commitment to safety, positive employee experience and positive guest experience.
