About The Position

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Mountain Host Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Mountain Host Manager in leading the mountain host department in fulfilling the company's goal of providing the Deer Valley Difference in collaboration with the rest of the DV team.

Requirements

• Supervisory or management experience required
• Expert level of technical skiing skill required
• Thorough knowledge of the Deer Valley Resort - including on-mountain services, ski trails, and lifts
• Knowledge of historical and local offerings in Park City and the surrounding community
• Appropriate physical condition. Able to ski up to 8 hours a day and be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office platforms. Specifically, Word, Excel, and Forms

Responsibilities

• Continually evaluate the Mountain Host offerings and provide thoughtful improvements using the Three Circle Model as a guide
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating mountain host staff
• Assist is scheduling guest tours in the winter
• Other duties as assigned
