About The Position

The Regional Channel Lead for BDS Marketing at Motorola is a pivotal role designed to enhance training opportunities and spearhead key business initiatives with regional carrier management teams. This position is essential for fostering relationships with carrier partners and ensuring that Motorola's handsets are recommended over competitors. The Regional Channel Lead will be responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive contact matrix for their assigned carrier and market, which will facilitate effective education, advocacy, and persuasion of carrier partners. In this role, the Regional Channel Lead will engage with higher-level market contacts to propose and negotiate product training sessions, thereby facilitating larger training opportunities for their teams. The individual will collaborate closely with client contacts to drive product initiatives and will be tasked with developing, overseeing, and attending special events such as product launches, kick-off meetings, and trade shows. Additionally, the Regional Channel Lead will conduct pre-launch training for new devices, utilizing both small and large group training formats to maximize impact. The position also requires driving district and region-wide webinar training attendance and support, as well as building strong relationships with mid to upper-level dealer field management within the assigned carrier channel. A critical aspect of this role is to provide detailed reports that outline trends and competition within the carrier's channels, ensuring that Motorola remains competitive and relevant in the market.
