About The Position

The Motorcycle Safety RiderCoach Coordinator is designated as a RiderCoach liaison and bike maintenance and re-testing coordinator. This position assists the Program Manager for the Motorcycle Safety Program. The Coordinator will work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse and multicultural community and workplace.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • One (1) year of experience as an MSF Certified RiderCoach
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience as a RiderCoach at a community college
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a RiderCoach liaison for the program.
  • Communicate important information to the RiderCoaches including but not limited to training opportunities, annual conference information, and curriculum updates.
  • Consult with the other RiderCoaches if and when changes need to be made to the range or program processes.
  • Coordinate repairs and general maintenance for the student motorcycle fleet by ensuring bikes in need of maintenance are properly labeled and stored in an appropriate location for easy access for repairs.
  • Coordinate with Plant Operations to arrange minor bike repairs and coordinate with a local bike shop to arrange annual and as needed maintenance of the fleet.
  • Arrange for the re-filling of the fuel containers and any work needed to be completed within the storage shed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage shed.
  • Arrange student retests, as needed, following each class.
  • Assist with any other duties as outlined in the policies and procedures manual or as assigned by the supervisor.
