About The Position
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under the direction of a Manager I in the Account Management Unit (AMU), the incumbent processes commercial, law enforcement and government requester applications. This process includes customer contact via mail, telephone and email, analyzing the application, assigning requester codes, establishing account access, and preparing applications and correspondence for submission to Quick Web. The incumbent requests driver license (DL) information from the department's records for the Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program and posts payments received by account holders and one-time customers. They communicate in writing and verbally with customers concerning their accounts, request payment due to delinquencies, dishonored checks, and other discrepancies. This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.
