This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento. Under direction of the Manager I, the Motor Vehicle Representative serves as support staff to the unit manager and Senior Motor Vehicle Technicians by providing technical and administrative duties to assist in situations and cases involving activities related to the Assembly Bill (AB) 60 Secondary Review process; possible fraudulent activities pertaining to driver license/ Identification and vehicle registration issues. All eligible applicants may apply. A training and development assignment may be considered. SROA/Surplus candidates are encouraged to apply. The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
