About The Position
This position is located in the Transportation Unit of the Engineering Service at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities
- Transporting patients to and from local airports, bus stations, and hospital residences
- Driving vehicles, passenger cars, vans, buses, and trucks
- Checking gas and other fluids, checking battery life, and changing tires
- Completing trip tickets and logs
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the office and vehicles
- Supervising passengers entering and exiting vehicles
- Loading and securing material on vehicles
- Performing related duties as assigned
