About The Position
The position involves operating a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment, including generators, wheeled/track vehicles, and semi-trailer combinations up to 70 ton capacity. The operator will also handle forklifts and equipment ranging from 2,000 to 50,000 pound capacity rough terrain (RT), and various types of wheeled and tracked cranes up through 25 tons. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, warehousing, and preparing equipment and supplies for transport, as well as performing preventative maintenance checks and services. The operator will issue and receive equipment, store it in the warehouse, and prepare accountability documents and warehouse reports.
