About The Position

This position will be part of the xEV Regional PE group for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for activity and support for Motor programs. Focus for engineer will be responsible for activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to Motor products. This position is specifically for the development and implementation of motor manufacturing equipment for Stators. Also, this role will identify synergy potentials across programs, best practices to drive cost effective solutions.

Requirements

• Engineering skills including knowledge of control systems, robotics, mechanics, pneumatics, optical inspection and computer programming.
• Ability to make quick, accurate, data driven decisions and utilize excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems.
• Willingness to support the corporate culture with an absolute focus on ethics and fairness.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years applicable experience.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience within automotive industry, with emphasis in electro/mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of EV components.
• Well organized, attention to detail and able to handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to prepare and present information to all levels of associates, management and customers both verbally and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages activities for multiple projects to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame.
• Responsible for activity and support for Motor programs.
• Establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to Motor products.
• Develop and implement motor manufacturing equipment for Stators.
• Identify synergy potentials across programs and best practices to drive cost effective solutions.
