About The Position

We are looking for a skilled heavy equipment operator with extensive experience operating Motor Graders (Blade) to join our team and help us build the safest, most exceptional roads in the area. The Motor Grader Operator will grade excavation and embankment and lay asphalt, base, and other materials. They may blade haul roads and perform other general work. The Motor Grader Operator will also perform finish grade work to blue tops or other close specification control.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of Motor Grader / finish blade experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Trimble GPS experience
• Knowledge of construction practices
• Knowledge of how to oil, grease, service, and make adjustments to equipment
• Familiarity with proper signals for work
• Prior experience within the heavy civil construction industry
• Excellent housekeeping skills
• Ability to work with various measurements, including metric, feet, and hundredths
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in diverse locations
• Balance, depth perception, and eye-hand coordination
