About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate motor grader to maintain and repair haul roads and work areas. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Safely maneuver equipment in active plant and quarry environments. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate motor grader and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong awareness of safety standards and hazard recognition.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment checks and minor adjustments.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
  • Frequent climbing on/off equipment and walking on uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Tolerance for working in outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Must comply with all company safety and operational policies.
