About The Position

The Department of Public Works and Parks seeks applicants interested in the full-time position of Motor Equipment Repairman. Typical duties include repair and maintenance functions on a wide variety of municipal vehicles in a modern, clean and well-lit garage. Prior professional experience as a mechanic is required. Ideal candidates will have experience in light, medium and heavy truck repairs, preventative maintenance for both gas and diesel and yellow construction equipment. A CDL license is not required for this role.

Requirements

• Prior professional experience as a mechanic.

• Experience in preventative maintenance for gas and diesel vehicles.
• Experience with yellow construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of municipal vehicles.
