Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers).
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field (not required).
  • Basic understanding of electric motor components or mechanical systems.
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in manufacturing or motor assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electric motors and components, including stators, rotors, and windings, using basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete motor assembly tasks.
  • Install and fit parts such as bearings, shafts, and brackets with precision.
  • Perform basic inspections of parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist in wiring motor leads and completing basic motor testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges.
  • Document work completed and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Participate in training programs to learn new skills and advance in your role.
