About The Position

Chase Design Group is seeking a full-time Motion Graphics & 3D Visualization Designer to join our NY team. Candidates should have experience designing for CPG brands and be able to bridge worlds between concept, design, 3D and motion. They are required to have the ability to identify and distill a brand’s needs, and convey those needs through graphic design, typography, video, and motion. They must be well versed in both 2D and 3D animation, with a variety of styles and a modern aesthetic, to contribute ideas and concepts in partnership with a diverse team of creatives. We look for team members who uphold our high creative standards with versatility, fresh ideas, and a collaborative spirit. A strong conceptual approach, sharp attention to detail, and flawless execution are essential.

Requirements

  • Excellent creative thinking and design capabilities, including typography, color, graphic development, etc.
  • 3-5 years working with branding and design agency
  • BA or equivalent in Motion Design, Animation, or a related design discipline
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines simultaneously with accuracy and excellence
  • Expertise in 3D modeling
  • Expertise in 2D & 3D animation
  • Knowledge of principles of lighting, textures and materials
  • Experience in storyboarding
  • Video editing and post-production skills
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D (including animation features)
  • Proficiency in Sketchup
  • Proficiency in Redshift
  • Proficiency in Adobe Dimension
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Overall, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to create storyboards in a wide variety of styles
  • Contribute to the concept and execution of motion graphics bringing branding, environmental, and package designs to life in impactful ways
  • Effectively plan executional approaches to each project
  • Execute quickly and effectively
  • Efficiently manage challenges and solve design problems through proactive problem solving
  • Manage time and consistently meet deadlines
  • Consistently drive excellence in design across all projects
