About The Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Motion Designer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in defining and evolving motion as an integral element of the brandâs identity. By using motion to express character and enhance clarity, you will create cohesive experiences across various platforms. You'll work at a systems level, developing guidelines and reusable assets while collaborating with designers and developers to embed motion thoughtfully into products and experiences. Your contributions will help establish a standard for how the brand communicates and engages through dynamic design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion design focused on brand identity
- Strong portfolio demonstrating intentional use of motion for brand expression
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, with experience in 3D tools
- Solid foundation in visual design principles such as typography and composition
- Experience designing motion for digital products and interactive experiences
- Systems-level thinking with the ability to create scalable motion solutions
- Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale to stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with experience working with cross-functional partners
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve motion principles that express the brand's behavior and personality
- Design scalable motion systems, including guidelines and libraries for consistent application
- Explore motion as a key form of brand expression across various touchpoints
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D motion studies and prototypes
- Translate brand strategy into clear motion patterns and behaviors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motion into design systems
- Develop sketches and storyboards to communicate concepts clearly before production
- Ensure motion enhances usability and accessibility
- Maintain quality while adapting motion systems to different contexts
- Research and apply new motion techniques to keep designs current
- Contribute to documentation that helps scale motion design across the organization
- Mentor and provide feedback to elevate motion craft across teams
