About The Position

You are a dynamic and versatile motion designer who marries the two sides of the Brand Department - Creative & Video. You bring energy and a unique perspective to your work, while maintaining a look and feel consistent with the Rapids’ identity. Using the skills and talent at your disposal, you amplify the club’s brand, elevate our video content and enhance the fan experience through motion graphics and video.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in motion graphics, live production, video production or related field
  • Proven knowledge of design principals in static and motion graphics
  • Strong understanding of motion graphics, graphics and video production workflows
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
  • Experience operating a variety of camera systems
  • Familiarity with a variety of the industry concepts, trends, best practices, and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of additional motion graphic and animation software
  • Experience working with professional sports leagues/teams or venue
  • Possesses knowledge of and passion for the sport of soccer and an understanding of the characteristics of soccer fans and soccer culture

Responsibilities

  • Contribute motion graphic and video production talent to the greater video and broadcast team.
  • Develop new and engaging content and support other’s content through motion graphics, production support and feedback.
  • Elevate the experience of every fan who attends a Colorado Rapids match using motion graphics and video.
  • Maintain a cohesive fan experience that reflects and conveys the organization’s brand and identity.
  • Alongside Creative Department and the Sr. Brand & Promo producer develop the visual identity of all motion graphics across social, video and in-venue content.
  • Work with video producers to maintain consistent execution to elevate the club’s brand.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Soccer Operations, and Community Relations to align video content with organizational initiatives.
  • Partner to develop strategies that enhance fan engagement and deliver measurable impact across all platforms.
  • Support gameday production workflows, ensuring seamless execution of live events and timely delivery of video content that maintains brand consistency and engages fans in real time.
