The Technician Motility reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Motility Technician is responsible for providing technical, clinical, and administrative support in the Gastroenterology department. The primary responsibility is to perform Esophageal Manometry and pH Impedance procedures on patients. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all pre and post procedure management such as patient education and addressing patient questions about the procedure, ensuring proper scheduling, completion of health history forms and other necessary paperwork, billing reconciliation, equipment cleaning and maintenance, and inventory management. Additional responsibilities as Endotech and endoscope reprocessing.
