About The Position
The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated physician for a full-time clinical academic appointment to Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. This position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates who hold an MD (or equivalent) and have completed additional clinical fellowship training in Gastroenterology, specifically in GI Motility. The successful candidate will be appointed at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor, depending on their qualifications and experience. The division is located in the vibrant heart of Manhattan's upper east side, where a new divisional and endoscopy area is currently under construction. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to design dedicated motility rooms, contributing to the growth and development of the division. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will be involved in the Katz women's health program and the pelvic floor program, playing a crucial role in teaching fellows and leading monthly multidisciplinary conferences.
