About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MOT Crew Lead to oversee and manage traffic control operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety. The role requires adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Previous experience in traffic control, flagging, or lane closure operations.
Advanced Certification.
Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
Pass background check and drug screen.
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
Strong work ethic, communication skills, and positive attitude.
Flexible Schedule (nights, weekends, 10+ hour days).
Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs.
Ability to perform regular physical tasks, including extended standing, walking on construction sites, and frequently bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Regular exposure to outdoor elements, including varying temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Implement traffic control measures to ensure the safety of the public and team members.
Set up and dismantle lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades.
Direct traffic around construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and trailers to and from work sites.
Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and report any potential safety issues.
Complete all required job-related paperwork and documentation.
