Our Mosquito Systems Technicians are responsible for supporting field system operations and assisting with installation and service work for mosquito treatment systems. The role requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and capable of performing physical labor, including trench digging, equipment installation, and system support tasks. This position is responsible for assisting with maintaining and installing system components, ensuring proper operation and service standards are met. Requirements

High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information in both internal and external settings
Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
You’ll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Picking up and dropping off your company truck before and after your shift in Doraville, GA
Driving a company truck along a scheduled route and spraying all areas of the customers’ yards with the mosquito control solution
Only working with mosquitos for mosquito control, no other creepy crawly bugs/pests/insects
Answering customer questions/concerns when visiting their home
Mixing and spraying mosquito control chemicals
Carrying a 60 lbs. spray backpack
Using your own smartphone for the job (downloading/using different apps, no customers that you need to call)
Working a majority of your day outside in different weather conditions
Safely operate a motor vehicle and make sure it and all other equipment is kept clean
Lots of moving around — regularly walking, crouching, and moving around outside
Providing excellent customer service, and building relationships with our neighborhoods
Demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in the area of pest control
Comfortable with self-directed working conditions after a training period
