About The Position

The Mortuary Transporter role involves providing safe and efficient transportation of the deceased during specific holiday shifts. The position requires a reliable individual who can respond to calls on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the process. Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove decedents from scene to desired locations provided by dispatch in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting the fleet manager and other employees during the removal of the body and loading into the company vehicle.
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions accurately.
• Assist with heavy lifting of 100-300lbs or more with assistance.
• Be reliable and answer all calls during agreed-upon shifts.
