Supervisory Responsibilities: None Summary The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business goals and sales strategies. This position involves analyzing business processes, developing actionable reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the Warehouse Lending team to achieve targets. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, vast experience with Power BI, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. They must follow the Essentials of Excellence and exhibit Centier’s Corporate Values during every interaction.

Requirements

  • Strong PC application skills with knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Power BI skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to include: pivot tables, lookup formulas, macros, cell based reference add-ons (CBR).
  • Ability to perform moderately complex to complex assignments and handle diversified duties and coordination of related activities.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy and strong follow-through to ensure tasks are completed as expected.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks for multiple layers in the organization.
  • Capability to work well alone and with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on the team schedule and upcoming deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to handle change well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new things, ask questions and clarify information.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, as outlined in the Dress Code Policy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, economic, computer science, or mathematical related field required.
  • 3-5 years of report development and/or analytical analysis.
  • Dashboard development/analysis required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with statistical software and/or programming languages such as: Stata, SQL, SPSS, VBA, Python etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Create comprehensive, user-friendly visualizations and reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Examine business results and processes to identify key trends, inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive and actionable reporting for the Mortgage Warehouse Lending line of business.
  • Gather and document business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement improvements and updates.
  • Interpret information and data that provides insight into business performance.
  • Responsible for preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Translate business owner wants into project specifications.
  • Integrate multiple data sources to create more robust reports/dashboards.
  • Assumes ad hoc duties as requested.
  • Must be able to perform most duties with minimal supervision.
