About The Position

The Residential Mortgage Servicing Analyst role at BNY is designed for individuals who are looking to make a significant impact within the Wealth Management team. This hybrid position, based in either Boston, MA or Pittsburgh, PA, involves solving complex servicing problems, analyzing mortgage data, and contributing to various mortgage servicing projects. The role requires a deep understanding of servicing procedures and standards, as well as the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school/secondary school or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of work experience in the residential mortgage industry, with demonstrated mortgage servicing or mortgage operations progression.
• Jumbo and ultra-high net worth experience preferred; experience with MSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solves complex servicing problems based on a deep understanding of servicing procedures, standards, and the MSP servicing system.
• Reviews and reconciles servicing reports.
• Analyzes mortgage data using common Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Completes mortgage servicing projects as needed, either individually or as part of a team.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and allocates workload for optimum efficiency.
• Contributes to the achievement of team goals.
