About The Position

DCCU is seeking an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager to oversee DCCU’s mortgage advisor (MA) team to execute priority growth strategies, optimize sales team performance, and strengthen the organization’s overall value proposition. This role is responsible for shaping and implementing strategic sales objectives, overseeing performance and coaching, leading recruitment and retention of high‑performing sales talent, and expanding new business development to increase revenue while consistently exceeding member expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Relevant experience, specifically in mortgage sales and leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading dynamic teams with high production.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain high‑performing sales professionals.
  • Strong analytical mindset; data‑driven and results‑oriented decision‑maker.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM systems and leveraging data to drive sales performance.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage sales marketing strategies and referral‑based growth models.
  • In‑depth understanding of mortgage lending products, processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate strategy into execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in mortgage lending platforms such as Encompass and Optimal Blue preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Mortgage Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination, efficient workflows, and a consistently high‑quality member experience.
  • Provide strategic sales leadership to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual mortgage volume and profitability goals.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop top‑tier Mortgage Advisors (MAs), building a strong and sustainable sales organization.
  • Deliver hands‑on leadership, mentorship, and performance coaching to maximize individual and team production.
  • Champion the evolution of sales strategies, methodologies, and technologies to improve efficiency, productivity, and member experience.
  • Track performance, pipeline activity, and results to maintain visibility and accountability. Develop tools and resources to improve MA performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor mortgage lead quality, conversion rates, and production metrics; leverage data insights to refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with DCCU leadership and marketing teams to design and execute compliant, high‑impact marketing initiatives that expand market share and referral opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to mortgage lending regulations, internal controls, and best practices while maintaining consistent sales execution.
  • Promote a culture of ethical lending, compliance excellence, and exceptional service across the mortgage sales organization.
