About The Position

LMCU is looking for a Mortgage Processing Team Lead who will be responsible for assisting with pipeline management and providing support for individual processors with assistance they may need. This role will also provide ongoing training support for new hires as well as for new processes being implemented.

Requirements

• Three years to five years of mortgage experience, including processing experience.
• Understands and is able to communicate all mortgage policies and procedures as set by state, federal and LMCU guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists processing management in monitoring reports in an effort to meet all facets of pipeline management.
• Assists with prioritization of tasks to ensure timely actions are taken by the team to meet cycle time, member satisfaction, production and compliance requirements, etc.
• Based on staffing and current loan levels, may need to carry a small pipeline meeting all expectations of pipeline management.
• Assists processing management in identifying process improvement needs and providing support to training team to develop any necessary training required for such improvement.
• Provides support to individual processors for questions and/or assistance they may require for loan, system, or process-related items.
• Assists with escalations, priority requests and staging needs.
• Works collectively with processing management to develop partnership among all departments. This includes the requirement to attend certain meetings including, but not limited to, bulletin update calls, partnership meetings, and pipeline review calls.
