About The Position
As a Post Closing Processor at Stock Yards Bank, you will play a crucial role in the mortgage process by ensuring that all loan packages are accurately prepared and compliant with investor requirements. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of the mortgage process and requires a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of mortgage documentation. You will be responsible for reviewing closing documents and managing post-closing loans, which includes tracking outstanding exceptions and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order before shipping files to various investors, including those for FHA and VA loans. Your daily tasks will involve processing loan funding, registering loans with the Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS), and resolving any investor exceptions related to the purchase of loans. You will also be tasked with imaging closed and adverse action loans, working closely with Loan Operations on serviced loans, and ensuring that all imaged loan files are of high quality through quality control checks. Additionally, you will assist other areas of the bank as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
