About The Position

Serves as assistant to the Residential Mortgage Lending Department. Closing and processing residential mortgage loan applications from origination through closing.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent with previous mortgage loan closing/processing experience.
• Skill in operating computer terminals, printers and other various office equipment.
• Skill in communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to create an efficient work environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Disburses closed loans.
• Inputs mortgage loans on mainframe computer system.
• Packages closed loans and sends to investors with audited closing documents.
• Finalizes funded loans and makes all necessary GL entries.
• Follows-up on any final documentation (final title policy, etc.).
• Scans final file to imaging system.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
