About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or relevant post-education experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of the Encompass system preferred.
• Familiarity with mortgage products and processes preferred.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Encompass system.
• Familiarity with mortgage products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Assess the needs of callers and route them to the appropriate areas or take messages as needed.
• Monitor emails and shared inboxes, responding to requests in a timely manner.
• Order verifications of employment and request homeowners' insurance binders from insurance companies.
• Sort incoming mail and distribute it accordingly.
• Schedule appointments with mortgage loan officers and confirm with all parties involved.
• Assist with the creation, monitoring, updating, and distribution of various reports within the department.
• Evaluate member needs and provide appropriate information and guidance.
• Escalate member service issues to management as necessary.
• Monitor supplies in the mortgage reception area and ensure replenishment as needed.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to members, processing transactions promptly and accurately.
• Support the mortgage team with various tasks throughout the mortgage loan process.
• Ensure the security and privacy of all members' personal information and documentation.
