About The Position

The Mortgage Market Sales Manager/Team Leader at Gesa Credit Union is responsible for directing and managing the Home Loan origination team within a designated region. Requirements

• Experience in mortgage lending and team management.
• Strong knowledge of loan products including Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, and others.
• Ability to coach and develop team members effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and coordinate the functions of the Home Loan origination team.
• Oversee Home Loan Officers' production, activities, and performance.
• Ensure achievement of assigned Loan Officers' production goals while meeting personal production goals.
• Facilitate the loan process by collaborating with Loan Officers, Credit Analysts, and Loan Processors.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, and develop regional staff.
• Provide recommendations for changes to products, loan policies, and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of various loan types and recommend policy changes as necessary.
• Monitor assigned reports and assist HLOs in developing business plans.
• Conduct annual reviews and assist in setting goals for team members.
• Recognize and address problems with loan structuring and quality.
• Attend trainings and conferences to stay updated on loan developments and regulations.
• Work with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns.
