About The Position

The Mortgage Market Sales Manager/Team Leader at Gesa Credit Union is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the functions of the Home Loan origination team. Requirements

• Five years of experience in Mortgage Lending.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree desirable but not required.
• Valid NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator Identification (MLO) Number or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Home Loan origination team functions.
• Oversee Home Loan Officers' production and performance.
• Facilitate the loan process by collaborating with Loan Officers, Credit Analysts, and Loan Processors.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and develop regional staff.
• Monitor and recommend changes to products, loan policies, and procedures.
• Assist Home Loan Officers in developing and executing business plans.
• Conduct annual reviews and set goals for team members.
• Train and problem-solve to improve service and address complaints.
• Work with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with lending laws and regulations.
