About The Position

The Mortgage Loan Processor at Forward Mortgage, LLC plays a crucial role in facilitating the loan process between Loan Originators, Lenders, and Borrowers. This position is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient loan processing experience, maintaining high levels of service and satisfaction for all parties involved.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in a loan processor role - Minimum 3 Year direct and current experience
• Proficient in the use of Desktop Underwriter & Loan Prospector
• Knowledge of ARIVE software a plus but not required
• Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures
• Organized, Detailed and able to think forward
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Balance between customer satisfaction orientation and a results driven approach

Responsibilities

• Submit loans to our lenders for underwriting
• Run Desktop Underwriter / Loan Prospector
• Order Appraisals
• Review loan approvals and coordinate obtaining conditions needed from the borrower, loan originator or any other involved party to the transaction
• Ensure the loan process keeps moving along and reaching and meeting set closing dates
• Order Closing Disclosures and review fees to ensure accurate figures
• Follow up on post closing compliance items needed from settlement agents and lenders
